Product Overview

Duplex 2205's balanced austenitic-ferritic microstructure gives roughly double the yield strength of standard austenitic stainless steel along with superior resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking — a common cause of shaft and stem failure offshore.

Bar stock is machined into pump shafts, valve stems and structural fasteners for platforms and process equipment exposed to seawater and sour service.
