Product Overview

High speed steel retains its cutting edge hardness at the elevated temperatures generated during high-speed machining — the defining property tool manufacturers need for drills, reamers, taps and milling cutters.

We stock the molybdenum-based M2 for general tooling, cobalt-added M35 for tougher materials, and higher-cobalt M42 for the most demanding high-temperature cutting applications.
